Rev Russ Goins

Rev Russ, Preacher Russ, Pastor Russ and Preacher are just a few of the names he will answer to. A local boy, he was raised up in the church. As did the prodigal son, he left the church but found himself right back where it all began. During a revival service on March 12, 1991, he began his service to the Lord. He began serving his church as a Sunday school teacher for the young adult class. Later he began teaching the adult class. He went on to become a deacon and soon to follow chairman deacon. But God’s plan had only begun. He was then called by God to Preach. After serving God as an evangelist, he was chosen as Pastor of Pee Dee Baptist Church. His faith and obedience to God gave him the ability to lead as only God would see fit. The unwavering adherence to the word of God has inspired many in and around the church. More so than just the words on this page, his walk and talk are living testimonies to his close relationship with God and his love for the church. Though he has many titles; father, husband, brother and boss, CHILD OF GOD is his most cherished.
